System Orchestration & AI

I'm a software engineer originally from India, currently building systems in the retail space across frontend, backend, cloud, and infrastructure — which is a professional way of saying I somehow end up debugging everything eventually. I work across the .NET and JavaScript ecosystems, with a lot of Azure and Terraform underneath, and I mentor a small team of developers along the way.

Lately, I spend less time hand-writing code and more time designing systems, specifications, and workflows around AI-assisted development and agentic systems. Somewhere along the way, "writing software" quietly evolved into "orchestrating extremely confident robots."

Roots & Philosophy

My obsession with computers started early — somewhere between trading games with friends in middle school and figuring out how to make them run when they absolutely weren't supposed to. That curiosity never really left.

I still learn best by building: encounter a concept, create something around it, overengineer it, then rebuild it simpler. I care deeply about clean design, readability, and systems that are understandable by humans other than their original author six months later.

Given the choice, I'll usually take readable code over shaving off a few milliseconds of performance — future developers deserve happiness too. I'm also a big believer in observability. Good telemetry, tracing, and diagnostics turn production incidents from archaeological expeditions into engineering problems.

Beyond the Screen

Outside of tech, I spend time reading thrillers, sci-fi, and fantasy; kayaking on open water; chasing good light with a camera; tinkering with small side projects; and disappearing into science and space rabbit holes at unreasonable hours.

I also have a deep appreciation for good coffee, good beer, and games that make you lose track of time. If I hadn't ended up in software engineering, I probably would've tried to become a pilot. Which, in hindsight, is still just systems engineering with significantly worse rollback strategies.

Guiding Principles

"Simplicity is genius."

"We'll figure it out."

"If it's perfect, you've stopped improving."
